Wall hanging

I consider myself very lucky to have been able to join Beryl Taylor in Egypt to produce this work
Beryl is a lovely person with inspiring ideas and we had a fabulous time on this course
We started making fabric paper in its various forms and painted the egyptian cotton in diluted paint for the background and trimmings In true 'Beryl' style we worked on small pieces of work which were then assembled to form a wall hanging No machines available so lots of hand stitching - Beryl was 'on our case' so we could go home with a finished piece......although we had time to swim eat and enjoy our holiday too
